If you choose to donate using electronic means and you are a regular giver at Agapé, using online banking with your financial institution will enable your donation to go farther. Online banking donations do not result in an expense to Agapé, but using a credit card or debit card does. Agapé pays both percentage and transaction fees for credit and debit card donations. For further information on using online banking, please talk to a customer service representative at your financial institution or check with the institution’s website.
If you are planning to use a credit card to give a donation, we ask that you double check your finances to avoid accumulating credit card debt to give a donation. Hopefully, you are able to pay off your credit card bill each month. If finances are an ongoing struggle for you, we suggest that you contact one of the Elders for possible help with money management.
Agapé has made arrangements to use PayPal to handle all online credit card and debit card donations. Recognizing that PayPal is an established and trusted handler of electronic transactions where many of us may already have an established account, it seemed logical to use their services to enable electronic donations.
Click on the Donate icon to submit a tithe, offering or donation electronically. You can also specify a recurring tithe, offering or donation with PayPal.
If you give using either a PayPal account or your personal credit or debit card, your donation will be recorded in your Agapé donation record for reporting at year end when donation records are sent to all donors.
If you have any questions about the information on this page or how to do any of the options on this page, please talk to Pastor Roger Monsma for help.
