Dave came on staff at Agapé in 2003 as the Youth and Young Adult Pastor. Dave became our Senior Pastor in January 2013. Dave is passionate about seeing the generations awakened to the power of God and His deep love for them. It is Dave’s heart to partner with families and other caring church leaders who share the desire to inspire others with a message of hope and transformation. Dave loves spending time with his amazing wife, Rachel, and their five children, Isaac, Luke, Nathan, Zoe and Eve. They love to play sports and be outdoors camping, biking, backpacking and being in awe of God’s creation. I absolutely love youth ministry and sharing life with students, leaders, and parents. I love teaching God’s word and watching students grow in their love for Jesus. I love seeing students discover who God has shaped them to be and helping them learn how to live out their calling in life. My wife Lynne and I met right away when I started going to Spring Arbor University. We were married on January 13, 2007. Lynne also graduated from SAU, and is a loan officer at Lake Michigan Credit Union. Lynne and I and our two beautiful daughters, Eva and Isabelle, love to be outside, play games and spend time as a family.

We invite you to visit Agapé and learn more about a deeper relationship with Jesus. The Bible encourages us in Hebrews "Let us not give up meeting together...but let us encourage one another...". That is why we believe in the importance of gathering each week as a community to worship, to learn from teachings and to fellowship.
